In the early 2000's, DEI strategies hit their peak popularity. However, despite the realization that equal representation is important, between 2001 and 2023 the percentage of Canadian women working in tech only rose by 3% from 21% to 24%. Though the idea of equal representation for women in tech may no longer be in the spotlight, data shows that not much has changed in over 20 years.

This dynamic panel brings together a diverse group of women in technology roles to discuss their experiences, challenges, and successes. Panelists will explore strategies for inspiring women in tech, mentorship opportunities, and how to foster a culture of collaboration and empowerment for not only women, but all genders.
