We undertake procurement tenders and suppliers that have been approved through an open procurement process. Our procurement opportunities are publicly advertised on B.C's provincial tendering sites and BCNET's solicitation process complies with the NewWest Trade Partnership Agreement (NWTPA) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

Does a supplier need to register to get access to BCNET contract opportunities?
No, there is no process for registering for contract opportunities. All BCNET procurement opportunities are publicly advertised on the respective provincial tendering sites.

How do I become an authorized or registered supplier?
BCNET posts all tenders on BC Bid. In order to be considered a supplier, you must be a successful proponent resulting from the tender process. We undertake public tenders that define one or more preferred suppliers.

How do I become aware of or access tender opportunities?
BCNET tender opportunities are advertised on BC Bid. Interested providers will be redirected to the Bonfire portal https://bcnet.bonfirehub.ca/ to access the solicitation documents.

How do I become a member?
BCNET membership is restricted to publicly funded post-secondary higher education institutions and research institutes in British Columbia. We do not open membership to the supplier or business community.
