BCNET and UBC hosted an online briefing about EduCloud Server on February 27th, where over 70 members registered to attend the briefing.

The briefing was designed to announce the pre-release beta program and highlight the service benefits, roadmap and provide a demo.

EduCloud server is an on-demand, self-managed, private higher education cloud server service that offers fast, easy and secure access to provision, manage and utilize servers at a fraction of the cost of implementing physical servers. The simple, self-service portal allows users the flexibility to create, remove and redistribute server resources anytime, from anywhere on any device. EduCloud Server service is operated and supported by BCNET Member, University of British Columbia.
