Dr. Dan Ryan is an accomplished leader, statistician, and educator who has spent over 30 years driving positive change in his community. With a passion for modern data analytics and emerging technologies, Dr. Ryan has held leadership positions at five Canadian universities and two research institutions.

Throughout his career, Dr. Ryan has been committed to establishing educational programs that meet the unique needs of the communities they serve. His passion for community priorities has led him to serve on numerous public and not-for-profit boards, where he continues to make a difference in the lives of others.

Dr. Ryan's insatiable passion for education and discovery has taken him across the world, including Ontario, Nova Scotia, Northeastern Australia, Prince Edward Island, and British Columbia. He earned his BSc in Honours Biology and his MSc and PhD in Applied Statistics from the University of Guelph in 1985, 1988, and 1996, respectively.
