Changes to the BCNET Board of Directors
BCNET Welcomes New Board Members
We are pleased to announce the election of four new members to our Board of Directors. Matt Milovick, Vice-President, Administration & Finance at Thompson Rivers University was elected for a two-year term as Secretary/Treasurer of BCNET. The newly elected directors include Sally Felkai, Chief Information Officer at Emily Carr University of Art + Design; Anndra Graff, Vice-President, Finance and Corporate Services at Northern Lights College; Trevor Hurst, Chief Information Officer and Executive Director at the British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education Skills & Training. All Directors were elected for a two-year term at BCNET’s Annual General Meeting on September 27, 2018.

New Board Members
Sally Felkai, Chief Information Officer, Emily Carr University of Art + Design
Sally Felkai holds a Bachelor of Applied Sciences with honours in Systems Design Engineering from the University of Waterloo. She has a background in product and program management with experience in software development and marketing. Sally is also a certified professional coach. Her interests lie in contributing to a strong collaborative environment shared by higher education leaders in B.C.
Anndra Graff, Vice-President, Finance and Corporate Services, Northern Lights College
Andraa has worked at the College for ten years, and served as the Vice President Finance and Corporate Services for the last four years. Anndra is a Chartered Professional Accountant and an active member of the BC Provincial Government’s ASDT Steering Committee.
Trevor Hurst, Chief Information Officer and Executive Director, British Columbia Ministry of Advanced Education Skills & Training
Trevor is responsible for the development and support of all internal and external digital services for the Ministry. Trevor works closely with BC’s 25 public, post-secondary institutions and BCNET to improve the availability, accessibility and capability of digital for higher education.
Matt Milovick, Vice-President, Administration & Finance, Thompson Rivers University
Matt has served as Vice-President at Thompson Rivers University for the last five years, having previously held vice-president positions at two Ontario universities. He holds a Master of Education degree from Memorial University as well as a Chartered Professional Accountant designation.
BCNET Thanks Peter Smailes
We wish to thank former Secretary/Treasurer, Peter Smailes, Vice-President, Finance & Operations at the University of British Columbia, for his dedication and contributions to BCNET and our member stakeholders. Peter was a Director of the Board for eight years and during this time he served as the BCNET Secretary/Treasurer for five years. His dedication and leadership were instrumental in helping BCNET evolve as a shared services organization.
