Michel Hébert
Research Director, Information Security and Compliance | Info-Tech Research Group

Michel Hébert is a Research Director with Info-Tech Research Group's Information Security and Compliance practice. A skilled researcher and facilitator, Michel advises clients on how to improve security capabilities and mitigate security risks.

Michel works with clients in a variety of public and private sectors, including government, higher education, and health care. In his current role, Michel helps clients assess the maturity of their information security program, devise information security strategies, bolster security policies, and improve security operations. Michel has a special interest in how organizations can improve their resilience to ransomware attacks.

Before joining Info-Tech Research Group, Michel was faculty at Western University and Huron University College and served as a Commissioned Officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force.

Michel holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from Western University.
