The University of the Fraser Valley Adult Education Program offers flexible schedules for Adult Education students offering all courses online. This combination of hybrid and fully online model allows distance students to participate in face-to-face offerings through Blackboard Collaborate Ultra (video conferencing). In order to facilitate this model, the Teaching and Learning Centre at UFV worked with the Adult Education Faculty to create a specialized learning environment equipped with video cameras and microphones in order to accommodate students participating from a distance through Blackboard Collaborate Ultra.
