E-Waste Recycling and Asset Recovery Services — GEEP
Wondering what to do with end-of-life electronics? GEEP offers cost-effective, secure e-waste recycling and asset management services to reduce environmental impact.
With the proliferation of e-waste, member institutions need to use environmentally sustainable, efficient and secure electronic recycling practices.
BCNET is pleased to announce a contract with Global Electric Electronic Processing (GEEP) for electronic asset remarketing and recycling services. The program offers safe, secure, reuse and recycling of e-waste. GEEP provides asset recovery to maximize the residual value of equipment such as laptops, desktops, servers, monitors, projectors, desk telephones and speaker systems.
Effective January 15, 2019, the GEEP contract is valid for a two-year term, with an optional one-year extension.
The program offers a sustainable e-waste solution:
Logistical and transportation services to pick up and deliver e-waste (minimum pallet loads apply)
Auditing and reporting of asset disposition and waste
Remarketing of assets by diagnosing and testing equipment to identify highest value of recovery possible. Rebates are based on a pre-negotiated revenue share model.
De-branding of assets, certified data erasure and destruction services to guarantee complete removal of private/sensitive information prior to recycling or resale
Recycling of obsolete equipment and waste breakdown in a sustainable manner through GEEP’s processing facilities for e-waste and zero-waste landfill
