What is the evaluation process?
The BCNET Broadband Innovation Challenge Committee is a panel of technical experts from leading high tech organizations, government and academia. Together, they evaluate submissions and select a short list of candidates. These selected candidates will be asked to present their projects to the committee that will judge the contestants and decide the final outcome.
Who are the sponsors?
BCNET is currently soliciting corporate sponsors to participate in the competition.
How will the winners be publicized?
Winners will present their applications before 500 industry, academic and government attendees at the 2009 BCNET Conference, Green Techologies for Research and Education on April 28 & 29, 2009 held at SFU Harbour Centre in Vancouver. Additionally, the competition winners will be showcased on the BCNET website and in the quarterly electronic newsletter, BCNETwork News.
