Configuration management offers an opportunity for managed server infrastructure environments of every scale to improve on consistency and reliability; however, there are many changes, both technical and cultural, that come along with that opportunity. University of Victoria's Linux server infrastructure team has taken the plunge, making configuration management with Ansible a key component of its systems architecture, from server builds to software deployment.
