In partnership with UBC IT, BCNET successfully launched EduCloud Server for the public, post-secondary sector in B.C. EduCloud is a self-managed, private, higher education cloud server service that provides simple and secure virtual data centre access to provision, manage and utilize servers at a fraction of the cost of implementing physical servers. The service has been a success in the two years since its launch with 89 per cent of our members adopting the service.

In this session, you will learn about the progress of the technology, operation, usage and adoption in the two years since its launch. TRU will discuss how they have implemented and use EduCloud, as well as service offerings they would like to see in the future.
