Network Traffic Analyzer and Monitoring Solution

BCNET is investigating a real-time, network traffic analyzer and monitoring solution called NetFlow to enhance network visibility, security, reliability and resilience. The technology provides an eye on network bandwidth, performance, traffic patterns and security alerts.

As a shared service, procuring a NetFlow solution enables network engineers across higher education institutions to proactively manage network performance and application issues. A Request for Proposals has been issued and a vendor solution will be recommended.
